Arlene DiGiacomo received a B.A. in French from Knox College, after having spending her junior year abroad in France. Later, she earned an M.A. Ed. from Concordia University with a double major in Administration/Supervision and Reading. Recently, Ms. DiGiacomo completed coursework for a state endorsement in Science in the Middle School.
She has worked in a variety of educational settings in a variety of different positions.
She began her career as a kindergarten/primary teacher in the Chicago schools. Later, she served as school counselor and later moved to private education and worked as a Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Systems and an Academy Director for charter schools.
Ms. DiGiacomo currently teaches Science and Religion in the Diocese of Joliet for St. Isidore School She totally enjoys the students and their parents. As an added bonus, she totally enjoys integrating new technology into the Science curriculum.
